ABOUT

As a 2019 graduated student from High Point University with a Graphic Design major and Studio Art and Communication minors, I hope to one day become a full time children's book illustrator. I have taken several classes in my field of study over the course of my life such as drawing, painting, digital media, digital foundations, typography, ceramics, graphic design, social media management, and many more.

My previous place of employment was at The Montessori School of Raleigh in Raleigh, NC. I held the title of Marketing and Communications Coordinator for two years. I currently work on design projects as a contractor for Blake Wilson Group. I have also self-published two children's books and have several products with my designs available for purchase in my shop. My most recent book, "Around the World in Devi Days," was published by Mascot Books in the fall of 2021. While my married name is Alisha Cohan, my maiden and former artist name was Alisha Sarkar.
